Malcolm's Easter

Malcolm had a wonderful Easter until the end of the egghunt which was just too close to naptime. I loved being with this weekend though in the sunshine and teaching him all about plastic eggs. He loved them. They shake, rattle, roll-and feed you sweets!

Dear Malcolm,

You are so terrific to hunt Easter eggs AND attend a peace march. Sooooo your mom's child! Your mother used to drive me crazy each Easter coloring ALL our eggs (dozens) and then hiding them over and over. Maybe next year you can start coloring although the sweets aren't inside this way.

I hope your participation in Peace Walks continues. Grandson there is simply nothing more important than giving peace a chance, sustaining it and loving one another. You are our hope! I love you, Grandma

You know, now that I look at it my son, you look so much like your grandfather in these Easter pictures. I have a beautiful sepia photograph of my father where he looks so much like you, and he has one little tear on his cheek. It is pretty amazing to see generations repeating in your face.
